Concept
The sketch explores how elements contribute to Gestalt — often with small changes producing dramatically different perceptual wholes. By rotating and rearranging Truchet tiles, the composition shifts between order and chaos, pattern and noise.
Approach
Inspired by op art traditions and Gestalt psychology, the sketch systematically varies tile rotations, discovering emergent patterns that read differently at various scales.
